SARA YOUNG

I grew up in Montana and spent most of my childhood running around in the woods, playing in the rocks or creeks around Clancy, or riding dirt bikes with my family on the weekends. College saw me at both Montana universities, and I later graduated from Baptist Bible College in Springfield, MO with a degree in Intercultural Studies. I love to travel and spent a few years throughout the United States, but have also been to Canada, England and Uzbekistan. I have two amazing sons, ages 14 & 18, and my goal before they grow up too much is a trip to Canada to complete the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit.

I am passionate about supporting Haven. Haven does work in the Gallatin Valley to educate and empower those overcoming domestic abuse and is an important part of my story. I wouldn't be where I am today without their support, and I have been involved with them for several years.

I love spending time in the outdoors with my kids doing anything in the water, hiking, camping or traveling the Northwest. Having two boys, however, means I am also a huge Marvel fan! Reecey is our Mini Aussie, and she makes us laugh every day.
